The vision of an autonomous delivery vehicle – E LAMBOX Neo
LAMAR Truck Body, which has been producing commercial vehicle bodies, sleeper cabs and aero packages for 30 years, presents its vision for the transportation of the future. Our construction and design departments have been tackling the challenges posed by the electric car market for some time.

We offer 2 products on electric chassis:
- E – LAMbox (Ford Transit, 16.2 m3)
- E – LAMbox „S” (Stellantis: Peugeot Expert, Citroen Jumpy, Opel Vivaro, 11.5 m3).

Both vehicles have been designed to have the highest permissible cubic capacity and payload. They perform particularly well in the courier and distribution industry.
“Electric vehicles are already an everyday reality, but since transportation is our corporate DNA, we are thinking about what will be tomorrow, so we have prepared a vision of autonomous transportation E – LAMbox NEO” – says Head of the R&D Department.
The E – LAMBOX Neo is made entirely of lightweight materials, including biodegradable composite with flax fibers, and 100% recycled materials. Its “C” shaped chassis has electric motors located in the front wheels, batteries distributed along the side rails, and in the center of the fuselage.
The open design of the rear platform forms the basis of a system for transporting interchangeable containers, equipped with additional batteries that double the vehicle’s range. Upon reaching its destination, the E – LAMbox Neo picks up another fully charged container.
Surrounding the vehicle are arrays of cameras and sensors, smart laser lights, and the rest of the control center’s components. In the upper alcove is the dock of an aerial drone adapted for parcel transport. In the future, the container’s opening roof section will allow for quick aerial unloading.
